Yay!!! Leah, my favorite little human, is taking over the blog tonight in my Friend’s Edition. She is in high school, loves fashion and beauty, and is absolutely gorgeous on the inside and the outside. But, like most kids her age, she has a budget. She is going to share her favorite drug store brands that are like the high-end brands we all love. These are her favorite beauty buys under $10.

We’ve all been there. Perusing the aisles at Ulta or Sephora, and you come across that perfect lip color. A rosy red that’s not too dull but just bright enough to give your look the perfect pop. You grab it from the shelf and turn to make your way to the checkout line, a grin spreading across your face at the idea of rocking that lipstick out with your girls, but suddenly a tag catches you eye, hanging off the bottom of your perfect soon-to-be purchase. Your face falls. $38?! For a lipstick!? And in the blink of an eye, your perfect lip color goes from a dream come true to a not so bright idea.

I don’t know about you ladies, but for me, lashes are everything! Mascara completes my everyday makeup look and is my number one favorite product. The only problem is finding a good one at a good price, and that is exactly what this product is. It lengthens and serves well for everyday or an intense look depending on how much you apply. In my opinion, blush is one of the hardest products to find at a good price while still being good quality. This blush though, is one of the few that meets those qualifications. You get a lot of bang for your buck, and even though it comes in a small container, it lasts longer than any other brand I’ve tried because of the pigmentation. A little goes a long way! I’d describe it as “cheap and cheerful,” only $7.99!
