Holiday Party Style Inspo

Yay, my first holiday post as a blogger. I can’t believe Thanksgiving is next week. Soon after will come the parties, gatherings and shindigs. I love a good shindig, and I am always rearin’ to go for festive holiday party. It’s where the naughty and nice come together, drink some egg nog, stuff their faces and go home happy. I’m always the first one to suggest a Secret Santa or White Elephant gift exchange. The one part I do go a little crazy over is what in the deck the halls am I going to wear?  So, I put together a little holiday party style inspo.

Holiday party outfits style inspo1. Black Velour Dress  2. Bow Sweater  3. Red off the shoulder top  4. Silver Sequin Dress  5. Red Spaghetti Strap Satin Dress  6. Stacked Pearl Necklace  7. Plaid Skirt  8. Muted Gold Cropped Pant  9. Black Pump with Crystal Bow  10. Silver Sequin Block Heel Shoe  11. Stud Earrings  12. Red Tassel Earrings  13. Gold Booties  14. Red Velvet Clutch  15. Plaid Scarf

Here it is in a chestnut shell. OMG, I can’t stop with my weird holiday puns.

Awkward transition, ok, not only are these ideas for a party, but I think some of these pieces would make really cute Holiday photo outfits. We are doing ours next week. Did everyone do theirs already? I feel a little behind.

When putting this together I tried to choose based on versatility, functionality and overall gorgeousness! I mean aren’t those black pumps swoon worthy?

The plaid skirt can be paired with either the bow sweater or the red top. Or, pair a black turtle neck/top with it and give it a clean classic look. All of these pieces are under $53 with a sale on top of it. Such a good deal.

Ok, can we please talk about these dresses? I am in love with the little red number (and it’s under $70). The velour wrap dress is an easy go-to. It’s the perfect LBD for this festive season. And velvet is SO HOT right now (figuratively).

When I saw the red clutch I knew I needed to include it in this roundup. I think it would be beautiful for special occasions all year long. It’s perfect for a romantic Valentine’s or a girls night! It also comes in navy. I say the same for the red tassel earrings. Those can bring a pop of color for any outfit really.

Of course, we all know I love a little sparkle. Adding some glitz and glam is super easy with a sequin dress, ammiright? This comes in 2 other colors as well. I think the gold booties are equally shiny. Hahaha! It’s like a walking ornament (don’t pair them together). I think they would look really cool with almost any of the other pieces though. Maybe with the plaid skirt and the red top? It would give it an edgy yet glamorous look. Someone please try it!

I cannot fail to mention the block heel silver glitter shoes. These are simply perfect. Not much more needs to be said. I will also say the same for the pearls. Classic and a no brainer. Let’s just throw in the studs too. Easy peasy and can be worn anytime. Did I mention they are under $10? #giftidea

Dresses or skirts are definitely my personal preference for holiday parties, but these muted gold pants have me second guessing that this year. I think these are so cute and could be worn many different ways for many different occasions.

Grab that scarf and put it with almost any of these outfits. It adds a Holidayish (invented this word just now) touch without being over the top. It’d make a really good gift as well.

I can’t wait to see all of the cute holiday outfits. More so, I can’t wait to see pictures of all of you enjoying time with family/loved ones and making memories, as that’s what this season is all about. Let’s never lose sight of that.

Hey, I'm Melanie

Welcome! I am so glad you are here. Grab a cup of coffee or a nice glass of red and stay for a while.
