Friday 5: Random Facts About Me
It’s Friday and it’s been a while. Well friends, I am back…I am so excited for this short week and today. Especially because we are en route to Cape Cod. What are you all up to? So, with it being Friday, I am bringing back my Friday 5 (cue utter excitement)!
This week for my Friday 5, I thought it may be fun to tell you a few random facts about myself (and here is more about me if you’re new here). Here it goes…
- I have been in the Nutcracker ballet at least 12 times. Yes, you read that right. From the Miami City Ballet to my home studio I danced at growing up, I have done it all. Snowflakes, to Sugarplums to Chinese, to rats…yes, even a rat; I have done it. Ballet (and dance in general) was a huge part of my life growing up. By the time I was in third grade, I was dancing 5 nights a week. It was my true love. I danced from the age of 3 until I was about 22. I think I am going to take some classes here in Chi. Any recommendations out there?
- Italy is my favorite place on the planet and I would like to have a vacation villa there someday. I have been to Italy twice and it is definitely the place I would visit over and over. The wine, people, cities and food. I mean c’mon, you can’t go wrong. I also really want to learn Italian just for fun. It may not be practical, who who cares. Prego!!!
- I LOVE animals. Growing up we rescued cats and other creatures as well. We have even had a chinchilla. I have Dakota today, which I am sure you are all familiar with. - I have met a lot of famous people. This is truly random, but for some reason I have met and interacted with a lot of famous people. Who you ask…John Stamos, Chris Noth, Toby Keith and Miranda Lambert to name a few.
- I love Florida (where I grew up), but HATE the hot weather. So, Florida is gorgeous and all, but I cannot take the heat. When I moved to Chicago everyone was floored when they heard where I was from. They had no clue how I could deal with the 4 seasons after living in such a tropical climate. Haha…I like seasons and the hot Florida sun is too strong for my pale skin anyways (thank gawd for spray tans). Of course, I love visiting and enjoying the beach when I can really take it all in.
