Snack to Go

What a day! The days are keep getting longer, and the nights keep getting shorter. But, this Chicago weather isn’t helping. All the while, I seem to be the busiest that I have ever been. Today, was no exception. I had so much to do.

The day started with a few errands; dry cleaning, ran some pants to get altered, and then on to the local coffee shop to get some work done. I had a couple of blog posts to write and then some prep for my full time job to make sure my week was organized.  How do you all organize your week? I am a list person, and I have made it my mission to stop procrastinating. #thestruggleisreal

After a few hours, the hunger pangs hit. I needed an easy snack that is delicious yet healthy. Why does this seem to happen constantly these days? I am out and about yet need a quick, easy and healthy snack right then. A Mariano’s was right there. So, I ran in to see what I could find.

I stumbled upon these Creminelli Fine Meats™. I am trying to be really healthy these days. So, I am keeping my snacks high in protein and lower in carbs. Plus, I am gluten intolerant. So, I must make sure everything I eat is gluten free. This ended up being the perfect snack. All I needed was some red wine to go with it, and it would have felt like I was in Italy again. Ha! But really, I am loving these due to the fact that they are made with the best organic and imported spices (from Italy). Also, the meat is raised on family farms that practice sustainable agriculture with no antibiotics, no growth stimulants and no animal derivatives in the feed. If y’all know me at all, you realize how important this is to me.

After picking up my Creminelli snack packs (I bought a bunch to stock pile at home), I ventured on to hit up my yoga class. I have been super into Yoga lately. I will be devoting a whole post to that soon. I literally walked to the train while devouring my prosciutto and aged mozzarella Creminelli snack. I looked mighty attractive; I’m sure. But, I seriously did not have the time to sit down at that point. A girls gotta do what a girls gotta do.

After inhaling my snack, I caught the train, and off I went. Yoga here I come!
