WLM Turns One

Wow! I cannot believe I am here. It’s my one year blogiversary. One whole year since I took on this blogging adventure. And what an adventure it is.

Going into this, I really had no idea what to expect. It was completely scary putting myself out there the day I hit “publish” on my first post. But man, I am so glad I can now call myself a blogger. This has been so rewarding!!! It has also taught me so much about myself, and what I am capable of. The late nights, endless photo shoots, and days where I had nothing to write will never escape me. It’s all part of the process. But with this comes so much satisfaction and creativity. It is my passion and I LOVE it!

As I look at this past year, so much has happened and some things are just as they were. As I went down the blogging road, there are 3 definitive things that realized.

1. Blogging is a shit ton of work.
2. The blogging community is SO supportive and lovely.
3. I can do anything I set my mind to.

Obviously there were other lessons and light bulb moments throughout the last year, but those 3 stick out to me the most.

Lastly, thank you, thank you, thank you! I cannot thank all of you enough; my audience, my loyal friends and followers. You all are the reason this has been a success over the last 365 days. I would like to especially thank Trent. You have helped me grow, supported me in the late nights, all while learning how to take amazing pictures. I could not do this without you.
